Insights From Inside the Decision

Holding a Team Together When the Clock Is Running
Under a hard deadline, the plan matters. How you treat people matters more, because they are the ones who keep the date.

The Acquisition Is Not Done When the Papers Are Signed
Most deals are judged on the price. Most succeed or fail on what happens in the months after closing.

Defend the Business, Concede the Past
A bankruptcy filing does not end a business. What ends it is defending the past instead of the business.
Common Questions
What businesses does NAJ Advisory work with?
NAJ Advisory is initially focused on owners and managers of businesses with approximately $1M to $25M in annual revenue and 5 to 500 employees, particularly when cash visibility or financial stability has become a concern. Nitin works in person across New York City, Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut.
What happens during the first phase?
Nitin spends approximately 10 focused hours understanding the business, the numbers, obligations and immediate pressure points. The result is a scoped diagnosis and prioritized path forward.
How quickly will I receive the diagnosis?
The intended turnaround for the scoped Phase 1 delivery is approximately 48 to 72 hours, depending on the situation and information available.
Does Nitin stay involved after the diagnosis?
Yes. Diagnosis is Phase 1. Where appropriate, Phase 2 focuses on stabilization and Phase 3 on rebuilding financial visibility, budgets, KPIs and ongoing CFO oversight.
Is this the same as bookkeeping or accounting?
No. Bookkeeping records what happened. NAJ Advisory focuses on understanding what is happening now, what choices exist, and what needs to happen next.
Can Nitin speak at our conference or leadership event?
Yes. Nitin is available for selected speaking opportunities around financial decision-making, turnaround, leadership under pressure, integrity and lessons from 30+ years in business.
